Personal Finance Web Exercise – 20 points Extra Credit.

Read these directions carefully.  Make sure you are on a computer with a printer.
Sign up to gain access to the site. Click on “count on it.”  
1. Begin with “your paycheck”, read all the information, answer the quiz, and print it out after you score 100%.
2. Return to “count on it” click on “Budgeting”, read “Needs and Wants” NEXT read “Creating a Budget” NEXT go to “Budget Plan” and click “Click here to open an interactive Budget Plan worksheet.” Click on “Step 2”, then click http://www.jumpstart.org/madmoney/pgv_money_rc_form.html Complete the form, click” “reality check” and print out your results. Now go back and fill out the “Budget Plan” worksheet and print it out.

3. Return to “count on it” click on “Saving and Investing” (Print and complete the "Rule of 72" worksheet), read each page, clicking “next” at the bottom after you read each page, , answer the quiz, and print it out after you score 100%.
Return to “count on it” click on “Career Options” Read each page, clicking next at the bottom until you reach the end. Now, Click on this http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/complete013.jsp link or go to www.fafsa.ed.gov Fill out a FAFSA. It may take a few minutes. You need to create a PIN number and you may need some info. from your parents or guardians. Complete each page accurately, saving your progress as you go.  Print out the final page showing that you have completed the application. Now you can go back to http://www.japersonalfinance.com/gsjapf/welcome.jsp 

4. Return to “count on it” click on “Credit”, read all the information, answer the quiz at the end, and print it out after you score 100%.
5. Return to “count on it,” click on “Risk Management.” read all the information, read and print out “What determines the price of your policy?” Answer the quiz at the end, and print it out after you score 100%.
