Welcome to Hillside High School!

Hillside is a fully accredited continuation high school that serves the Upland Unified School District. The school offers a regular school day program plus independent study, regional occupation program (ROP), and adult education. Students are provided an alternative program which is flexible, learner-centered, standards aligned, and outcome based. Students are given every opportunity to achieve their academic goals. Expectations are consistently high because of the schools commitment to excellence. The entire staff firmly believes that all Hillside students have the ability to reach their maximum potential.

Mr. Dave Mooney will become the new principal at Hillside High School beginning on July 1, 2008. Ms. MaryEllen Dawson announced her retirement earlier in March and the district just completed it's selection process
