I think tech is cool. I also think knowing how some of the stuff works or how it got here is also interesting. I would like you to investigate some of the technology that you have become accustomed to using . 1. Go to flaming text create your name using the website tools and download your name to your computer.(Save your name in your folder located in my documents. We will use this later in the quarter.) 2. TAkE the Earthquake quize and check out the spinning globe. 3. Go to skyscrapers and find the list of the 10 tallest buildings in the world. List the top five. 4. Got to Howstuffworks_money and pick a topic and describe in your own words how the topic you selected works. 6. Go to Howstuffworks_auto and pick a topic then describe in your own words how the topic you selected works. 7. Go to Ask Jeeves and do a search for the LA Times. This will take you to a search result of www.latimes.com. What is the head line for todays internet paper. 8. Go to GlobeXplorer.com and put in your address to see a view of where you live.... online. 9. Skim through some of the top 100 pranks pulled on April Fools day. Tell me about one you read. 10.Please do not take the next site too seriously. This site uses existing charts base on numerous factors to calculate how long you will live. What date did it give you.
